How Did I Get Here?

I have always been fascinated by images. When I moved to the United States at a young age, I leveraged the art of drawing. My focus had always been on people and the environment around me. Using only a pencil and eraser, I would draw anything and everything I see looking out the window. From trees, school buses and traffic signs, to people and animals etc., you name it, I always kept myself occupied. I transformed my art into digital form. Microsoft Paint was my platform. I began educating myself on depths, angles, pixels and generally what makess a good image great. Never could I have imagined the foundation I was building for myself

I owned my first camera, Canon T7, in the summer of 2020. For starters, frames of choice were automobiles and landscapes. I quickly learned that photography is not only about capturing frames and moments in time, but it can be used to broaden the creativity of the photographer by setting a mood and telling a story within the frame. Therefore, one's creativity has no limit.

Life is made of thousands of memories. Most of which pass by unnoticed, even though that’s exactly where our human essence is hidden. As I continue learning throughout this journey, I strive to capture those memories one frame at a time.
